Travel Chalk Mat by Idoublera*

I feel so bad for not reviewing the chalk mat in this blog..Ok, this genius chalk mat was made by a dear blogger/twitter friend Ira. She is one creative lady that make things with love. You can browse her blog here > www.idoublera.com/blog :)

She creates beautiful party for her kids and many more small little things I admire a lot! One day she asked me if she could put her chalk mat in my booth (Crafty Art Market & Handmade Market), within seconds I said YES! And Nasya is so lucky she got one for her early birthday present. Thanks Ira..You know how Nasya loves to draw so much!

Yeah yeah, my daughter is a lefthanded girl..

Nasya loves it so much. She loves to doodle and draw anywhere. Because this chalkmat is so handy , I bring it out whenever we go out. So while waiting for food, she can quietly draw. I can happily snap some pictures and tweet :)

This chalkmat comes with a chalk, but without a duster but it can easily be cleaned by a tissue or baby wipe..Some people do comment to me that this might be dusty etc, but to think about it, we are not using it all the time. And this is an IKEA MALA chalk, it is less dusty compared to our oldschool chalk. But still, dont get me wrong, I dont force people to buy, its up to you :). I do let my daughter to use and play with chalk because she only spend with it for few minutes when she feels like drawing on the mat...

Yes, it can be rolled like this!

And few pieces left. Do email me fast, before you regret okay? Price at RM45, and FREE SHIPPING offered for this one week!

Happy Monday!

Okinokiyo Collaboration with Eyes of Grace

I didnt expect this but I really want this deep inside my heart. I want to collaborate to any photographer who can take pictures very well so that my handmade items are perfectly captured.

I dont have any plan but I do dream about it. Last year, I asked kak Zubye to captured the fashion show at GIS and then out of the blue after the show, she asked me if I can make a child mad hatter's hat, and I said YES!

So that was the starting point when we collaborate. I am now making props as per requested by EOG.

Okinokiyo's Item : Mad hatter's hat & colorful bow

Okinokiyo's item - Flag bunting

Okinokiyo's Item : Felt crown

To make this exclusive, I will not making props for other photographers, I am truly sorry. But if mommies and daddies out there wanted to buy Okinokiyo's stuff, and wanted other photographers to capture it, that is still ok.

And Im now is busy making some ready made items to be put at EOG shop, so if you happen to go to her shop in Bandar Baru Bangi, you can browse my items and buy it there ok?

Thanks Kak Zubye for featuring Okinokiyo's items in TV9 recorded program - Safiyya; which might be aired somewhere in Feb 2011.

Good start of 2011 eh? Alhamdulillah.

p/s - Pics are courtesy of EOG.

Okinokiyo stuff at AzGiftBaskets

I am super active in twitterland :) I tweet almost every hour while working. Mind you my working enviroment is in this combination - daughter crying, yelling, messing around me, cutting, sewing, checking emails and etc...

So, we - myself and Kak Milie, owner of Az Gift Baskets sometimes (or is it a lot? :p) chat in twitter. So one day, she wanted to have some Okinokiyo items for the basket. I was excited and made a bloomer, sunhat and a MYtinyROOM pillow for her.

And until a few weeks back, there was an order for that basket and I was so excited. Lucky enough I finished all my orders a day before and I can make the items for the basket. I am so proud to contribute my things in the basket since I adore Kak Milie's workmanship. Now her baskets are one of the Christmas baskets in Jusco!
