Fun bazaar and finally my OWN rattan head

Last bazaar was fun. Super fun even tho its super tired. Why I said super tired? Because OkinokiyoShop were there for 2 days consecutively! Below are some pics before the event started. Usually the crowd will come around 12 onwards.

Fun thing was on Sunday, my sifoo - Unaisah came by and say HI! She was the person I get advise from when I was starting the business. So, seeing her was like *screammm* because she helps me a lot. Like a lot. Thanks for dropping by. Otai like Liz from Snuggbaby, Kak Milie from azgiftbaskets and zam from izzy bakery were there too! So can you see how fun is that??

So today- this morning exactly, I purchased some new fabric and I will only post the fabric once its here and these are for raya? Or for bazaar? I dont know, but please grab it as fast as you can as I don't re-order the same fabric and I only ordered in small yardage okay?

Ohh I got another fabulous news (at least to me :p) hehehe which is I already got the rattan head that Im looking for previously. And wait till I shoot all the sunhats with that fabulous head.


I thought of spraying the head in pink like hot pink or dusty pink but my husband said, just let them as they are.Yes THEM! Coz I bought two heads, which I dont know why hehehe. Maybe too excited??

Sewing hall?

This is my sewing area. Its in the living hall. Im using the dining chair to sew because I cannot find a perfect sewing chair for me yet.

I sold the previous table to a friend of mine and did some storage and furniture hunting last weekend. As expected and to my dissapointment, the white Vika Amon Ikea table was out of stock. And the black too! So I have no choice and picked the beige one to replace the old one.



Both have same colors, only differs in length and width. And I can put both machine in the table and no more yelling to my daughter when she tried to play with the serger.

See the dressform? Hopefully that will inspire me to sew more..And I think it did. I just finished sew a top for my LO while she was sleeping just now..

This afternoon, I sent my serger for service because it needs one. And hopefully can comeback to me perfectly before Friday!

Finally I got the dress form!

Finally I got the dress form I'm looking for, for ages.

Why I need one?Because I tried to snap pictures of skirts for sell, but I found it hard, because my little one cannot stay still and I cant stop asking her to stay still, so I need one thing that can stay still, which is the DRESS FORM!


The skirt was made to sell and the top is my LO top for hari raya. Happen to be, it matches the skirt..Yeayy!!

It cost me RM150 and can be found at the shops at Jalan Kenanga. OMG I cant stand the traffic there!

The circles story

I have a big big BIG secret to tell you.

All this while, I only have one bobbin. Can you imagine how complicated and how hard is that?And how much thread have I wasted?


I already told you that the sewing machine is my mother in law's one. And she told me that the bobbins can easily find in any shops. But then, I went to my favorite shops, normal shops, Singer shops (because Im using Singer machine), still I cannot find the "Sure-fit plastic Singer bobbins"

Until today, I felt that I need and must find the bobbins because it makes me wasted so many times wind and unwind the thread.

So, the journey started around noon and I found them in one small old shops in Kajang town. Yippie..and now, I can sew happily.

And the other big circle is the other thing always lack in my tool box which is the ...errr can you guess it? ;p

The frustrating moment

See this is the golden serger. My mother in law gave this to me but this thing has not been working for quite some time and when first I got it, it was so hard to use.

First because I don't have any experience using serger. And second because the thread is so thin and soft and easily break. It was so frustrated.



Why I blog about this is because I was in the mood and was happily sewing when it goes wrong at the end of the sewing process. Now I need to learn why it didn't go well as usual or the easiest way to send it to the shop to service it. And hopefully can use it by weekend.

Arghh so frustrating..
