Withdraw

I may withdraw from the Subang Parade bazaar this weekend. Maybe. Im not sure yet. Reason being is, err here, do you know that I have other business Im running? Which is a birthday business, you can take a look here.

Usually, I have my husband to help me especially the admin thingy, like posting the parcels, reply the birthday emails - because they have standard process, cutting etc, but the dear husband is not here. He's away for a business trip for a week since last weekend. Can you imagine? :p

I was left with Nasya and am struggling myself with all these orders. They are fun but if I cannot meet the deadline, I am DEAD.

So, I called him, which Im sure, the next morning, my phone will be barred because I talked to much. This is normally happen when he is outstation. So I told him that I plan to withdraw because or these piling orders and I want to deliver on time..and he agreed. But then, still, it depends how tomorrow goes. If, I managed to finished 50% of the supposed to be done items, then you will see me at the bazaar, and vice versa.

And when this happen, I am seriously going to look for a real assistant as I cannot breath anymore. I turned into a monster to my daughter and that is so unfair to her.

But I managed to sew for this little lady. 2 dresses actually. But I did these last week.

I love matroshyka so much and wonder what should I make using that fabric. Thought to make a skirt but Nasya wanted a dress, so peasant dress it is.

The batik dress was inspired by Durra. Then I dig my treasure box and saw that batik which I kept for almost 2 years and now it turned to Nasya's dress.

Why I can squeeze these two in between orders because peasant dress is easy and its fast.

And ok, I think I need to go now, Im totally tired. Its 3.17 am already.

Wrap Pinafore

In this week bazaar, my favourite item is this below wrap pinafore... Initially I want to keep this fabric for Nasya..as usual..but when I cut it, I know Nasya cant fit this, as she's quite tall for her age, so there you go...I put this beautiful pinafore with the beautiful prints on this little mannequin and it gone in few minutes.. :)

And the scariest thing happened, when the sunhats is not enough for Sunday sale :( :( I was so panicked but I knew this will happen one day. I also occupied myself by bringing my fabric, and cut the sun hats there. I cut the sunhats for those have paid and placed orderes and most probably all the orders will go out on Tuesday, insyaAllah. I also make some for the shop and will upload them by Wednesday..

Ok now, its almost midnite and I am so tired..so I will blog more in next few days,ok ?

Subang Parade AGAIN

Hello crafters!

I am so so so so busy with sunhats and zipper bags and dresses these few days. Just right after the bazaar last weekend, I received a lot of sunhats orders. Might be after Shilashower made a blog entry about the sunhats.

I think last week was dresses marathon and this week is sunhats marathon. So please bear with me with lack of blog entries. I am too occupied with these orders.

I came out with a pouch - a drawstring pouch as usual with colorful fabric. I didnt take any pictures of that item, but if you drop by, then you will see it and I also didnt make much because I find most of my time is busy cutting sunhats...

So this week....I have one new dress..A Pinafore. A wrap pinafore which I planned to snap the picture last nite, but I didnt because the photographer (my husband :p) coming back late from work. So maybe tonite, I will try to share with you the pinafore...

A one new item will be in the bazaar this weekend. SO that is why I find hard to blog and chat too much here. I wish I have more time.

What Nasya wears

Hello crafters,

I am right now freaking out because I am not that ready for this weekend's bazaar. Why? Because I feel like I have a mind blocked. This mind blocking thingy is blocking anything that I do. And everything that I did, turned to be scraps :p So everything went to the scrap bag. Can you imagine how much waste I made. Dont imagine that. Its so unbelievable...

Anyway, last weekend was a bit productive for me. I made few things for lil Nasya. So here they are...

Ruffles Pants
Its a 3/4 pants with ruffles and made from soft denim fabric which I've been keeping almost 2 years :) So, I was cleaning the box, and I thought, why not make something from this for Nasya. So a simple pants that is.

The picture was taken early morning when we were ready to hit the supplier's shops. Hehehe yes, I dragged Nasya along, so that she was exposed to the how mummy dig money environment hahaha..but in the middle of the day, she was asking for school with slides and friends but I bribed her with her aunties' rabbits. It was a long day until I got headache because too much standing under the sun :p I went with my 2 other sisters and they were helpful to entertain Nasya.


And yes, she carried her bag along throughout the trips..



Tshirt Dress
This was last weekend. We were supposed to hit Sunway Lagoon for a splash with my siblings since my elder sister was here, but then few days earlier, Nasya was on slight fever and demand for longer sleeps and early nap. So I decided to cancel the splash time instead we went for movie..

The peace shirt was from FOS, and from the boy's section. I love anything with peace sign, and been keeping the shirt for quite sometime. Finally I had the time to refashioned it and it only took merely less than half and hour.

The tutorial I was referring is from here. I made the length as in the guides and width is Ax2 only. It was super duper easy. Going to make more in the future.


Toy Story 3 was awesome where I cried towards the end. And Nasya was holding the popcorn all the times and telling me to eat it only at HOME! Hahaha..



Ok here is some glimpse of how Nasya plays with her dolls. They were having their nap by the beach or what? I dont know :) The dolls somehow I think like the doll in the Toy Story 3 movie, dont you think? It was a gift from my mom for Nasya's 2nd birthday. The teddy was Nasya's first teddy I bought when she was few months old.

Ok, I cant help to post this one! Haha..Taken by my sister during our business outing..and now its my current wallpaper.

Fun bazaar and finally my OWN rattan head

Last bazaar was fun. Super fun even tho its super tired. Why I said super tired? Because OkinokiyoShop were there for 2 days consecutively! Below are some pics before the event started. Usually the crowd will come around 12 onwards.

Fun thing was on Sunday, my sifoo - Unaisah came by and say HI! She was the person I get advise from when I was starting the business. So, seeing her was like *screammm* because she helps me a lot. Like a lot. Thanks for dropping by. Otai like Liz from Snuggbaby, Kak Milie from azgiftbaskets and zam from izzy bakery were there too! So can you see how fun is that??

So today- this morning exactly, I purchased some new fabric and I will only post the fabric once its here and these are for raya? Or for bazaar? I dont know, but please grab it as fast as you can as I don't re-order the same fabric and I only ordered in small yardage okay?

Ohh I got another fabulous news (at least to me :p) hehehe which is I already got the rattan head that Im looking for previously. And wait till I shoot all the sunhats with that fabulous head.


I thought of spraying the head in pink like hot pink or dusty pink but my husband said, just let them as they are.Yes THEM! Coz I bought two heads, which I dont know why hehehe. Maybe too excited??

I love bazaar

Did anybody see the above and left side banner? I will be participating again in the ILOVEBAZAAR fashion bazaar @ Subang Parade.

So now Im quite busy preparing new skirts and one or two new accessories or items..

Will shoot the picture sometime later in afternoon and share with you. So, to those who have no plans yet during the weekends, drop by yeah?? Do come so that you wont miss the items you like as I will not/very very seldom repeat fabric/designs of the items I sell.

We will be there ALL days as stated in the banner. How cool is that? :)

Emergency Zipper Bag and Baby Sunhat

Finally Im back! Back from the long hiatus. I have the "Ohh So Yummy" products. I call it Emergency Zipper Bag. Why Emergency? Because I put all the emergency things inside.


If its Nasya's Emergency Stuff, I'll put her clay, few crayons, and few colored paper. This is to make sure she is entertained during our outings, usually while waiting for the food we ordered. This really works. I usually show her one by one things inside, and make sure she fully used all the stuff and then, the food arrived, so there will no more cranky toddler with you.

If its MY Emergency Stuff, I will put my wet wipes -either to remove makeups, or to wipe Nasya's messy mouth and hands, one pack of tissue paper and my liners and you-know-what.


So these colorful and yummy Emergency Zipper Bag will be available at my booth at the next bazaar :


And I updated my Facebook with the latest fabrics. So, I made some of sunhats with the new fabrics.

OK, some announcement. From now on, baby sunhats, will only use this type of sunhat, its kind of one size fits all. Only for 12months and below. Im using the yellow lion fabric outside and I'm using the green blue fabric inside the sunhat.

I am a towkay junior... Dont play play with me. As I have BIG eyes and BIG plans as my parents. I have BIG dreams too!

Whole family came to support me. They took care of my booth and gave me a chance to wander to other people booths. Whole family also did some spending at other people booths. I must say the last week's bazaar was a blast. I have so many things to buy but I limit myself only RM50 max spend every week. Do come again friends and customers. You will not regret AT ALL.

I must say that best thing I got during this bazaar is to make new friends who havethe same interest which is FASHIION & SHOPPING. They are so nice (the people) and they sell good things as well. Sara from Fashiono.my sold so many unique accessories. I was eyeing this one owl bangles & a unique ring but the second time I came both are GONE!

But I managed to buy a long blouse in cyan with tiny pink polka dots only RM30! I love it to bits. Cant wait to join the next one. I will not be there this end month because I have some family commitment, but I might be there on JUNE. Yes JUNE...Watch out this space..Who knows I might come with some new things eh? wink wink ;p

"I love bazaar" bazaar - OkinokiyoShop @ Subang Parade 3 April 2010

Hello Crafters!

Last Saturday was ok.The crowd was not that many as the previous week's crowd but I managed to cover the booth rental and made few hundereds of profits as well. And best of all, I made new friends!

This time around I was the only one at the bazaar. My sister was not around, and I asked my husband to take care of our lil girl, worrying if she tired like the previous week.

But she came in the morning, helping me organizing the booth before off to feed the fish at the fish pond with the daddy.

My booth this time at 10am. Bazaar started at 11am. I was the 2nd early vendor.

I sold the sunhats, aprons, dresses and skirts. Surprisngly, ,my first and second customers were foreigners who appreciate this handmade stuff.

I also managed to get few pre-orders for the sunhats & aprons & few dresses, so please expect some hiatus in this blog :) Anything you can just email me yeah?

Hello Peeps,

I will be at I love Bazaar flea market - at Subang Parade on 27 March 2010 - Saturday ONLY.



But no, Im not selling the kiddos clothes. Im selling new items under my brand new brand : MYtinyROOM

Basically MYtinyROOM is selling home decor items for kids room. Im working on with so many things where the main items are the cute plush pillows. I have lots of them during the bazaar. So please drop by and say hi!
